Welcome to Mildred B. Janson Elementary School, where every student is a leader!

At Janson, we are proud to be a Leader in Me school. This program is built on the belief that every child has unique strengths and the potential to be a leader. Through the habits of leadership, students learn to take initiative, set goals, work collaboratively, and make responsible choices. You can see student leadership in action every day — in classrooms, on the playground, and throughout our school community.

We know that student success grows from strong partnerships between school and home. Parents and families are our most important partners in helping children reach their full potential. When we work together — communicating openly, celebrating progress, and supporting learning both at school and at home — our students thrive.
