Uniform Complaint Procedures

Williams v California Department of Education. At the January 13, 2005, regularly scheduled Board Meeting, the Rosemead School District Board of Trustees approved a Williams Resolution to amend the Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP) to comply with the statewide Williams case settlement, legislation, and Education Code 35186. This code addresses the sufficiency of instructional materials (textbooks), the condition of facilities that may pose an urgent threat or emergency to the health or safety of pupils and/or staff, and teacher vacancy and any teacher misassignments.
